SWFFont->getWidth()

SWFFont->getWidth - Returns the string's width

Syntax

float SWFFont->getWidth (string $string)

Arguments

• string - When y is 1.0, it is a 45-degree upward slant. More is more upward, less is more downward.

Description

swffont->getwidth() returns the string string 's width, using font's default scaling. You'll probably want to use the swftext() version of this method which uses the text object's scale.
