Flash: One man, one TV show
My guess is this (Flash req'd) is how online presentations will look in a not-so-distant future.

- Video is nicely integrated with text, graphic, and animation. And it runs on a traditional server, no need for expensive media servers.
- Shortcuts to key points in the presentation are available in the bottom (it's hard to tell the difference between slides when you hold mouse over shortcuts). This gives users better control over the presentation.
- The presentation is embedded in an HTML page and not in a homemade Flash browser.
- Links to demos that support the presentation.
- Written translation of the presentation into multiple languages is possible. Very nice if you want to reach an international audience.
- Two-way communication is supported though not used in this presentation. The presenter can interact with his audience by accessing the microphone and webcam on viewers' computers. Conferences and courses become possible in entirely new ways.
In effect, everybody can soon host their personal TV shows and interact with an international audience.
