Micropayment: Horror-writer Stephen King has partnered with Amazon.com to self-publish his newest novel, The Plant. Users are asked to pay one dollar per chapter downloaded but can also get the content first and come back to pay later. According to King users have paid for 75 percent of the 152,132 chapters downloaded after 7 days.
